Fees & Insurance

Fees &

Insurance

Your privacy and well-being are my top priorities, which is why I’ve chosen to remain out-of-network with insurance companies. This allows me to offer the most personalized care, free from insurance limitations.

Why I’m Out-of-Network

  • Protecting Your Privacy: Insurance companies often require detailed information about your sessions. By staying out-of-network, I can keep your information confidential and shared only at your discretion.
  • Personalized Care: Without insurance constraints, I have the freedom to tailor therapy to your unique needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
  • Client-Centered Approach: Together, we’ll set the goals and pace of your therapy, focusing solely on what matters to you.

Payment and Reimbursement
Though I’m out-of-network, many clients use their out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement. I can provide a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Fees for Service

  • Group sessions: Starting at $55
  • Individual 50-minute sessions: Starting at $175
  • Couples sessions: Starting at $205
  • Contact me for info on assessments and intensives.

Reduced Rate
I offer a limited number of reduced-rate spots based on availability.

If you have any questions about fees or the out-of-network process, feel free to reach out. Your healing journey deserves a space where you feel fully supported and prioritized.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE AND DISPUTE PROCESS DISCLAIMER

SelfWork Counseling, PLLC / Jennifer Yeager, MA, LMFT-S, LPC provides good faith estimates to all clients in accordance with the No Surprises Act. The Good Faith Estimate represents the cost of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs.  The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate is created.

The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that might arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill.

You may contact the health care provider or facility to let them know the billed charges are higher than the Good Faith Estimate. You can ask them to update the bill to match the Good Faith Estimate, ask to negotiate the bill, or ask if there is financial assistance available.

You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days (about 4 months) of the date of the original bill.

There is a $25 fee to use the dispute process. If the agency reviewing your dispute agrees with you, you will have to pay the price on the Good Faith Estimate. If the agency disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount.

To learn more and get a form to start the process, go to www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-368-1019.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-368-1019.

Keep a copy of the Good Faith Estimate in a safe place or take a picture of it. You may need it if you are billed a higher amount.
